New Appointments March 2013

ERF are delighted to announce the significant strengthening on our customer facing and management team. The last quarter of 2012 saw four new arrivals within key roles, each bringing with them specialist experience ranging through building materials, lighting technologies and industrial machine controls as well as many years of electrical wholesaling experience.

As a result of investing into wider industry knowledge within our Management Team, ERF’s customers can expect to see a significant enhancement of products and services during 2013 with new and exciting business opportunities for both ERF and our installer partners.

ERF Challenge Raises £26,694 for Charity!

At the end of September Ashley Smith and I set off with three customers to climb Kilimanjaro for 4 very deserving charities. The experience was fantastic but made worth while by achieving the raising of a considerable sum of money.

I have put a few pictures from the trip and highlighted the money raised by those who went. We would all like to thank you for your support before, during and after the event and for the kind donations made to our charities.

I can confirm that 100% of what was donated went to the charities directly and the cost of the trip was donated by ERF as our charity donation.

Andy Flavell of K&F Electrical went in support of Birmingham Children’s Hospital. He raised £2,430

Paul Fisher of DES Electrical went in support of When You Wish Upon a Star. He raised £2,912

James Carney of PMS Electrical went in support of The British Lung Foundation. He raised a staggering £6,352

Ashley Smith and I went in support of the Motor Neurone Disease Association. We raised the sum of £15,000 Thanks to a very generous final contribution from an anonymous friend.

We raised the unbelievable total of £26,694 between the five of us. This figure was beyond our expectations at the start and makes the effort and training all worth while.

We will not be embarking on a charity event during 2013 but will be planning something for 2014. If you have any ideas of what you think we should do or if you have had something in mind but need the drive of a team to support you then let me know. I have a couple of ideas of my own.

I would like to end the Kilimanjaro experience with a big thanks to those who supported us, to my fellow walkers and especially Ashley Smith.

Thanks and if you have any ideas email me at robincombellack@erfelectrical.co.uk.
