Sales Development
ERF Leicester
Hello my name is Rameshchandra Mistry well known as Jerry Mistry in the trade. I have worked in our industry for the past 30 years, mainly as a distributor in cable and cable management systems market.

I have served in the TA for the same amount of time as a part time soldier and retired as a Captain in the Royal Artillery.

Thankyou to ERF Electrical for employing me as Business Development Executive for Leicester branch to look after new and existing customers. Please remember this one quote:

The impossible we do at once but miracles take a little longer.

Sales Development
ERF Ilkeston
Having a strong background within the (HVAC) Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning trades, I will be looking to bring in new custom from this area whilst developing the core business in the local market place of Ilkeston. Having previously worked for other independent wholesalers I am really looking forward to the challenges that await us and sharing in the success of the branch.

For enjoyment I like supporting Liverpool football club, watching formula one and restoring classic cars. The most recent of which was TR7 V8 convertible..

New Appointments March 2013

ERF are delighted to announce the significant strengthening on our customer facing and management team. The last quarter of 2012 saw four new arrivals within key roles, each bringing with them specialist experience ranging through building materials, lighting technologies and industrial machine controls as well as many years of electrical wholesaling experience.

As a result of investing into wider industry knowledge within our Management Team, ERF’s customers can expect to see a significant enhancement of products and services during 2013 with new and exciting business opportunities for both ERF and our installer partners.

Business Manager ERF Newark
Having worked with a large national builders merchant in branch and area sales management in Lincolnshire for the past 5 years, and previously in Project management for house builders, James brings with him a wealth of management experience with contracts, sales, and staff. James has shown his ability to grow and keep his customer base and sales year on year within previous roles in a difficult market, and brings with him a focus to deliver service levels above and beyond expectation to Newark branch and its customers. In a competitive marketplace James is keen to make ERF the branch of choice in what is a large catchment area, not only by bringing in business new and old, but by building relationships and trust with our
customers and delivering service levels and maintaining them year on year.

Business Manager ERF Blaby
Hi I am Alan Davies the original branch manager of ERF Blaby and now the new branch manager of ERF Blaby. I felt very privileged when given the opportunity of returning to the family business and taking up the reigns once again at ERF Blaby. I bring a wealth of experience with me to Blaby and hope to expand on what is a very well organised business with an extremely good customer base.

For enjoyment I like to walk my 2 dogs attempt to play snooker and darts also follow Swansea (ex Mumbles boy) and Leicester City football clubs at least 1 of the above is healthy. Also my wife and I love to holiday around the UK taking our dogs with us (shame about the weather sometimes) but we make the most of it anyway..

ERF Challenge Raises £26,694 for Charity!

At the end of September Ashley Smith and I set off with three customers to climb Kilimanjaro for 4 very deserving charities. The experience was fantastic but made worth while by achieving the raising of a considerable sum of money.

I have put a few pictures from the trip and highlighted the money raised by those who went. We would all like to thank you for your support before, during and after the event and for the kind donations made to our charities.

I can confirm that 100% of what was donated went to the charities directly and the cost of the trip was donated by ERF as our charity donation.

Andy Flavell of K&F Electrical went in support of Birmingham Children’s Hospital. He raised £2,430

Paul Fisher of DES Electrical went in support of When You Wish Upon a Star. He raised £2,912

James Carney of PMS Electrical went in support of The British Lung Foundation. He raised a staggering £6,352

Ashley Smith and I went in support of the Motor Neurone Disease Association. We raised the sum of £15,000 Thanks to a very generous final contribution from an anonymous friend.

We raised the unbelievable total of £26,694 between the five of us. This figure was beyond our expectations at the start and makes the effort and training all worth while.

We will not be embarking on a charity event during 2013 but will be planning something for 2014. If you have any ideas of what you think we should do or if you have had something in mind but need the drive of a team to support you then let me know. I have a couple of ideas of my own.

I would like to end the Kilimanjaro experience with a big thanks to those who supported us, to my fellow walkers and especially Ashley Smith.

Thanks and if you have any ideas email me at
